Forms

Forms are cement sculptures created from scavenged styrofoam packaging of consumer goods. After casting these industrialized shapes, I physically break apart the molds and casts. I then take those components and reassemble them back into abstract form. These forms become bonded together and painted into something quietly familiar, yet commonly strange. I am working with these pieces to create a conversation around the physical and physiological weight our decisions hold with the consumption of material goods.
